Custom closet company earns spot on list of top replacement contractors across the country

Closet America, a leading home professional closet organization manufacturer headquartered in Lanham, Maryland, announced that the company has earned a spot on Remodeling magazine’s annual Top 550 Replacement Contractor list.  This is Closet America’s first year to appear on the list.  Residential remodeling revenue data for the list was gathered from a survey jointly developed by Remodeling and its sister publication Replacement Contractor.

Remodeling notes that the replacement business requires continuous lead generation and the ability to consistently convert leads to sales. Because job size is relatively small, volume is high, and a rapid sales-to-completion timeline is key to success, making all companies’ appearance on the list impressive.  One thing that hasn’t changed is the highly fragmented nature of this industry, with around 800,000 contractors involved in home renovation, but comparatively few generating sales of $1 million or more.
