As closet design experts, we have obviously been following the progress of ABC’s hit family comedy Modern Family ever since it began—for market research purposes, of course! Jokes aside, at Closet America we have loved following the saga of Jay Pritchett and his rival Earl because, thanks to its stellar writing, the show shines a hilarious light on the industry we know and love. The closet companies in Modern Family’s LA are a little absurd at first glance, but it’s still an honor to have our industry showcased in a smash hit TV series.
Closet America may not have truly stunning 80s commercials to showcase—and of course, we don’t sell blinds. But in all the ways that count, our design process is at the forefront of the modern family closet industry. The world took notice of Modern Family right from the first season. The show earned an incredible 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, a feat of true excellence in today’s vast internet marketplace. The show continued to rise in acclaim and popularity, earning 22 Emmy awards and 1 Golden Globe to date. That’s an incredible measure of success for a mockumentary sitcom.

In this day and age of mediocrity, I cannot say enough fine things about Closet America. My designer made everything easy and fun. The quality of materials is first rate. The installers were punctual, courteous, and expert at their job. In less than 4 hours they finished.
I have friends who have used other companies. There were different crews and they worked slowly, and had to come to her house SEVEN times to fix mistakes. NOT so with Closet America! New closets are amazing! My husband was kinda dreading the ‘process’ but after the consultant left, he said it was awesome and was so excited to get them installed. Installers showed up when they said they would, were very tidy and professional, and did a great job. Quality is amazing. SO glad we invested in these closets. Had we done them ourselves through a store or something, I know (and have seen) the quality isn’t as great. I know these were made well, installed perfectly, and I am so happy with the whole process!
