Closet America Wins Service Excellence Award
One of eight companies honored at the Replacement Contractor Executive Conference
Lanham, Maryland, March 8, 2012: Closet America, a leading home professional closet organization manufacturer headquartered in Lanham, Maryland, received the Service Excellence Award at the Replacement Contractor Executive Conference in Las Vegas. The award was presented in a joint effort between GuildQuality, Hanley Wood and James Hardie.
For those Replacement Contractor Executive Conference registrants who opted in for a Service Excellence Award, GuildQuality asked each to provide their full client list from 2011. GuildQuality then surveyed a representative sample of their clients using their e-mail, telephone, and mail surveying process. The survey questions covered the full experience in working with the contractor, spanning the sales and service experience, quality of workmanship and products used, and ultimately would the client recommend the contractor to a friend.
“It was an absolute pleasure to be a sponsor of this year’s Replacement Contractor Executive Conference,” stated Mark Miles, Chief Operating Officer for GuildQuality. “The participants were evaluated across all questions surveyed, with particular weight given to the response rate and recommendation rate. We then selected, along with James Hardie, eight winners from two different categories – those with more than $10 million or more in revenue for 2011, and those with under $10 million in revenue for 2011. The winning contractors all scored very highly in these areas, making it apparent they are totally committed to providing a quality client experience.”
Skip LaBella, president of Closet America, said, “We are so pleased to be recognized by Replacement Contractor magazine, GuildQuality and the Service Excellence Award. Service is a differentiator for us here at Closet America. Our clients expect the best and that’s exactly what we deliver. Being recognized by such reputable organizations in our industry validates the commitment and hard work of everyone at Closet America.” LaBella stresses the importance they place on customer service: “Great service isn’t something that happens by chance. It’s the result of the efforts put forth every day by every single employee at Closet America. I’m extremely proud to have a team that’s so committed to customer satisfaction.”
This latest recognition comes on the heels of Closet America receiving the 2011 Guildmaster Award for exceptional customer satisfaction from GuildQuality. Closet America was one of 154 home builders, remodelers, developers and contractors throughout North America recognized for their superlative performance. Over the past year, Closet America has also received the Angie’s List Super Service Award, and has appeared on the Wood 100 list and on the Remodeling Top 550 list.
